WHY HYPERBARICS?
FDA-APPROVED Mild Hyperbaric Chamber
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurized environment, at a level higher than one atmosphere. Increased pressure allows for oxygen to dissolve and saturate the blood plasma, which yields a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical and cellular effects. This noninvasive therapy is the most trusted way to increase oxygen levels to all organs of the body. A typical treatment lasts 60 minutes, during which the client lies down and breathes normally.

BENEFITS OF MILD HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY (m-HBOT)
One of the key determinants of HBOT is pressure and the greater the pressure, the greater the amount of dissolved oxygen into the body- it does not take much pressure to deliver extra amounts of physiologically-available oxygen. The added pressure allows extra oxygen to be absorbed and transferred from the lungs into the blood, causing a greater saturation of blood oxygen levels. As this rich oxygenated blood makes its way to damaged tissue, extra oxygen is now readily available and can be potentially utilized for enhancing tissue repair and regeneration while also still being able to provide its potent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects.
HOW IT WORKS
Your body’s tissues need an adequate supply of oxygen to function properly. When tissue is injured, it requires even more oxygen to survive. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases the amount of oxygen your blood can carry. With repeated treatments, the temporary extra high oxygen levels encourage normal tissue oxygen levels, even after the therapy is completed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What do I wear?
During your appointment, you will enter the chamber wearing your normal clothes. We just want you to be comfortable and remove your shoes.
What can I bring in with me?
You’re welcome to bring in reading material, cell phones, listen to music, meditate, or just take a nap!
Can I eat and drink inside the chamber?
Water bottles are ok inside and drinking may help clear your ears. We recommended that you eat a small snack before treatments due to the amount of calories burned during the session. We offer protein bars, mixed nuts, and frozen blueberries if you forget!
Will I feel claustrophobic?
It’s actually very roomy inside the chamber, you can fully extend your arms upright and see out of a side window. There is a knob inside the chamber that you can control to pressurize at your own comfort level, as well as a zipper to let yourself in or out. So you’re definitely not trapped!
What will it feel like?
In the beginning and end of the session you will feel fullness in your ears during pressurization, similar to what you may feel flying in an airplane. We recommend clearing your ears as much as possible during this time to prevent any discomfort while the pressures are changing.
Lay back, relax, and begin healing!
How many sessions do I need?
Once your Rx paperwork is submitted, we will be able to have a better idea of how many sessions you will need. People have reported feeling improvements in as few as 3 sessions. Some conditions could potentially take 40 or more sessions to make a difference. Sessions can be done as often as twice a day.
Studies have shown that after 25-35 treatments, your body’s tissues are permanently changed.
Hyperbaric Vs. Regular Oxygen therapy?
Hyperbaric Therapy is becoming very popular, especially at high-altitude environments. By using a hyperbaric chamber, the oxygen in the body is increased two to three times higher than normal air pressure. Under these conditions your lungs can gather much more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure.
